What counts as a UserOp
A UserOp (UserOperation) is one smart account transaction. Any UserOp on a production network such as Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base or Polygon counts toward your plan.
Testnet UserOps never count. Testnet is free and unlimited on every plan, including Starter.
UserOps and API requests
Getting one UserOp onchain takes about 10 API requests: estimating gas, sponsoring, signing, submitting and confirming. Each plan includes an allowance of both, sized to match at that ratio.

How gas sponsorship is billed
Gas is passed through at cost. We never mark up the gas itself. Sponsored operations are paid from the funds you deposit in your gas policies.
Each paid plan includes a monthly number of sponsored operations with no service fee. Past that, a flat fee applies per sponsored operation:
service fee = (sponsored ops this month − included sponsored ops) × your plan's per-op fee
For example, on a plan that includes 10,000 sponsored ops, sponsoring 15,000 in a month means the per-op fee applies to 5,000 of them. You pay the gas for all 15,000 at cost either way.
Because the fee is flat, it doesn't move with gas prices. A busy day on Ethereum raises your gas bill, not our fee.
Reaching your plan's limits
Starter. Starter includes a set number of mainnet UserOps, with no time limit. When you've used them, mainnet access pauses for both the API (Bundler and Paymaster endpoints) and gas policies. Testnet keeps working. Upgrade to a paid plan to restore mainnet access.
Starter's sponsored operations are a separate, smaller allowance within those UserOps, and it doesn't reset. Once it's used, upgrade to Launch to sponsor more.
Launch and Grow. When you reach your monthly UserOp allowance, further requests are rejected with a Too Many Requests error until the allowance resets with your next billing cycle, or until you upgrade. The same error appears if you exceed your plan's requests per second.
Enterprise. Volume and limits are set in your contract, up to unlimited.
Changing plans
Upgrade any time. A downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
No credit card is needed for Starter. You add one when you upgrade.
